“I want to assure you that adequate security measures have been put in place to safeguard your lives and property throughout your stay in the camp and beyond,’’ he said.
He said the deployment of corps members to the education, health sectors and for basic infrastructure in the communities had contributed immensely to the overall development of the state.
Bagudu, who was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Samaila Yombe, commented the NYSC management for deploying the corps members who would be integrated into the development agenda of the state.
The State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Barde Usman, said that corps members would be given the opportunity to serve in the various committees set up for smooth running of the camp.

“I will give corps members a practical experience in administration and a chance to contribute to decision making that affects them,’’ he said.
He commended Gov. Bagudu for his support to the NYSC in the state, especially the ongoing renovation of the camp, the planned upgrade of the camp’s facilities and camp capacity in the state.
Usman said the state NYSC lacked utility vehicles for monitoring and inspection of corps members in their various locations of primary assignment across the state and a functional ambulance.
