Bagudu mourns special assistant and Ajimobi’s daughter Abisola Kola-Daisi

Minister of budget and economic planning Abubakar Bagudu has expressed profound grief over the passing of his special assistant Abisola Kola-Daisi who died in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning.

The deceased was the eldest daughter of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.

Mr Bagudu’s message was conveyed in a statement issued by the ministry’s director of information and public relations Julie Osagie-Jacobs.

” On behalf of all of us in the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, I express our deep sadness for the loss of this young lady, who in her short stay with us demonstrated exceptional brilliance and an uncommon dedication to duty,” the minister said.

Bagudu extended his condolences to President Bola Tinubu, a close associate of Mrs Kola-Daisi’s late father Ajimobi.

He also offered heartfelt sympathies to the Abiola Ajimobi family and her husband Kolapo Kola-Daisi, praying for divine comfort during this difficult time.

Born on March 12, 1981, Abisola was described in the statement as a distinguished professional with an impressive academic background.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Northridge in 2003 and a master’s degree in business administration from Regent’s Business School, London in 2005.

Her passing is a significant loss to the Ministry and all who knew her. Mrs. Kola-Daisi was remembered for her brilliance, dedication, and contributions to her role as Special Assistant.

The Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning joins her family and loved ones in mourning her untimely demise. May her soul rest in peace.
