Olayide Bakare, wife of the founder of the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly Pastor Tunde Bakare, on Sunday clocked 61.
Mrs Bakare’s birthday celebration comes three days after her husband clocked 67.
The church made a special post on Facebook in honour of Mrs B as she is fondly called.
“What shall we say unto the Lord, all we have to say is thank you Father. We want to thank God for His grace and faithfulness in the life of our matriarch, the Authentic Mrs. B!” the post read.
“We bless God for another year of your life and we pray the goodness and mercy of God will remain steadfast. Amen.”
The church called for birthday wishes from well-wishers, adding that it would ensure she reads through them all.
The church made a similar post on November 11 when Bakare, a former vice-presidential candidate, turned 67.
Bakare got married to Olayide on November 24, 1984. They have five children.
