Cornerstone Anointed Church of Christ minister, Pastor Freeman, has revealed that Nollywood producer, Bambino Anachina, gave his life to Christ before his death.
Born Chukwudi Anachina, Bambino died on June 16 at the age of 44.
His family and colleagues held a candlelight procession in his honour on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Freeman, stated that Bambino died serving God. He also added that prior to his death, he was very active in the things of God.
“Bambino died serving the Lord. The last time I saw him, he was in the church. He came for devotional. He warmed up to everybody, he was liked by everyone.
“We didn’t know that was the last time we were going to see him,” he said.
A Christian wake keeping will hold for Bambino in Agbueke Village, Akwa in Anambra State on Thursday, August 2.
His body will leave the hospital the next day where it will be received in his father’s compound in Agbueke.
