Singer, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has announced he would be releasing an album in 2020.
The 38-year-old revealed this in a tweet on Friday while responding to a fan’s request.

us music.

you don’t want to do again, for goodness sake can you just make even if it’s
one song a year, just one

the fan wrote.
In reply, Banky W said: “Okay, I’m gonna do at least one more album, in 2020. Not sure if there are too many ppl who feel the same as you do, but thanks for this. I appreciate it.”

Banky W had contested the House of Representatives election during the 2019 elections to represent Eti-Osa in Lagos under the platform of the Modern Democratic Party (MDP).

He lost to the son of a former minister of state for defence, Ibrahim Obanikoro, of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The 38-year-old is married to Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi.
