Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, was robbed at his Lekki home in the early hours of Wednesday, his colleague, Bovi, has confirmed.
The attack came exactly one week after the man born Bright Okpocha met with Facebook CEO and the 6th richest man in the world, Mark Zuckerberg, who was on a visit to Nigeria.
Critics had knocked the comedian for his “extravagant” appearance at the meeting attended by other Nigerian celebrities.
Wednesday’s robbery, according to Bovi, occurred between the hours of 2am and 4am.
Fortunately, no one was hurt by the robbers who reportedly took away several valuables including the CCTV monitor in the house.
Basketmouth was yet to make any comment on social media about the incident about the incident as at the time of filing this report.
