Comedian Bright Okpocha Popularly known as Basketmouth has signed a music deal with American-based record label Empire.
The 43-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Hey guys, did I mention that I’ve been signed by Empire? Well…I am,” he wrote.
Fellow celebrities and fans congratulated the comedian in the comment section of the post.
Empire is an independent record label that handles music licensing and distribution and boasts a lineup of successful Nigerian artistes like Olamide and Fireboy DML.
