Arsenal became a laughing stock on social media following another mediocre second round exit from the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The Gunners crashed out of Europe’s elite club competition at the round of 16 for the seventh consecutive season after a disastrous 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Emirates.
The result is a replica of the first leg in Munich and the worst by any English club in the history of the competition.
No wonder fans of rival clubs stormed Twitter to mercilessly troll Arsene Wenger’s team with the German giants leading the way.
