Big Brother Naija contestant, Oluwabamike Olawunmi, better known as BamBam, has denied reports that her parents want her out of the reality TV show.
This follows online media reports that her family was furious after she was caught on video purportedly having sex with fellow housemate, Teddy A.
The romp got many condemning the duo, followed by speculations that the Project Fame semi-finalist’s parents had requested that she be ejected from the Big Brother House in South Africa.
A message posted Thursday on Instagram on her behalf by her management, however, described the reports as “completely false” and that it “should be disregarded.”
BamBam is said to be a committed member of Revival House of Glory International Church.
A social media user even claimed that her father is a church elder who suffered to see the microbiology graduate of the Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State through school.
The statement on Instagram, however, declared: “We do not know the said user from anywhere and as such have serious affiliations with her.
“It’s the work of unscrupulous elements and it is what it is. Thank you for those who stuck out for us and brought it to our notice.”
A broadcaster, singer and actress, BamBam had promised to “bring drama and entertainment and my charm” to Big Brother Naija
She also promised to pay her tithes from the prize money if she wins the reality TV show.
Teddy A, on the other hand, had earlier told housemates he would not have sex with BamBam in the house because he respected her.
