Gifty, the trouser-troubling fair-skinned contestant Big Brother Naija viewers love to hate, has been evicted from the reality TV show.
The two others nominated with her, Marvis and ThinTallTony, survived to continue the quest to win N25million and a brand new car.
Regarded as the queen of fake, Gifty becomes the fourth housemate and second female to be kicked out of the show.
The first eviction show saw Miyonse and Soma leave the Big Brother House in South Africa.
Last week was the turn of CoCoIce.
This was the third time Gifty was put up for possible eviction, although the first was a mock exercise.
Joining the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on stage, Gifty said it was fun, challenging and romantic being in the house.
She said she liked the guys as brothers despite her romantic attachment to them.
On her passion for power and fame, she said she could achieve them through wisdom and “doing the right thing”.
She thought that TTT, Bisola and TBoss might have nominated her for eviction, but was surprised Kemen and Efe nominated her.
The latest evictee is the most controversial housemate, going by certain traits for which viewers and her fellow housemates have classified her as ‘fake’.
They range from her inconsistent accent, hopping from one male housemate to another and lack of a special skill like most of the housemates.
She also drew the ire of viewers recently when she claimed not to know Falz the Bahd Guy and Banky W when both artistes visited the house at different times, adding that she didn’t like Banky W, as she felt he was proud and full of himself.
Many viewers, including actress, Funke Akindele, called for her eviction from the show.
With Gifty’s exit, the number of the remaining housemates is 10, although Biggie had introduced two fake housemates – Jon and Ese – who are not playing for votes or the prize.
