Big Brother Naija season six housemate Pere has said that the reality show has taught him to be patient and tolerant.
The 36-year-old ex-military official said this to his fellow housemates on Monday while reacting to his eviction escape.
“This house has positively impacted me. I’ve learnt a lot of patience and a lot of tolerance because it’s not easy living with people who are different from you; entirely different.
“People are different from each other and you look at everyone else, not the way you actually see yourself. In order to live peaceably with everyone, you’ll have to step out of yourself. There are times I’ve been pushed, as you guys know. But over time, I’ve learnt patience; I was never that way.
“I’ve learnt to be more tolerant. I’ve learnt to give people a lot of room for error. That way, you don’t necessarily get hurt when people step on your toes. I expect it to happen. It has changed me that much,” he said.
