The former husband of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Ka3na has died.
Known simply as Mr Jones, the octogenarian was laid to rest in the early hours of Wednesday in the United Kingdom.
Videos of Ka3na weeping while embracing his coffin has gone viral.
Ka3na and Mr. Jones got divorced in March 2022. The reality TV star reportedly married the man when she was 22 years old. Their marriage produced a female child.
The cause of the man’s death was not immediately clear.
In July 2020, Ka3na revealed she met him in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and went through IVF to have a child for him.
“My husband being 64 was not that strong anymore and I really wanted to have a child for him, so I decided to go for IVF,” she disclosed in an interview.
Shortly after the divorce, Ka3na said dissolving her marriage and moving abroad was the toughest decision she made in 2022.
She shared a photo of herself and her daughter on Instagram and wrote: “It’s Been 17Days Since We Got The Keys To Our New Home @lila_bossbaby. Dissolving my marriage and moving abroad so far has been the toughest decision this year without the support of my family and friends.
“As some women here may have experienced..Pressing the RESTART button is always the most dreaded action button when considering a divorce. But I take a stand with —Nathan W. Morris; “Life Is A Master Piece. Edit It Frequently And RUTHLESSLY.”
