Charis Akpabio, a friend of former Big Brother Naija housemate Tega has raised an alarm following the deactivation of her Instagram account.
Tega deactivated her Instagram account in the early hours of Wednesday after she made a post saying that she is mentally exhausted from the online bullying she has been receiving since she left the Big Brother house.
The mother of one was criticised for having a sexual relationship with Boma in spite of her marital status.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, Tega’s friend Charis said that they are unable to reach her, claiming that the ex-housemate has received several threats.
“Tega deactivated from social media and from everyone around her. We can’t even reach her and I hope she is safe. 2000 comments and 1900 are people threatening and abusing her.
“Yes she messed up in the house but who are you to still drag her after how many weeks? Is it not enough? She didn’t even owe us any stupid apology but she apologised, move on. You people know these need their social media account to make money but you took that from her. Mental health isnt considered when Tega is involved. Are you her husband? I hope she gets the strength to move on and ignore these trolls,” she wrote.
