Big Brother Naija reality star Queen Atang has tied the knot traditionally with her partner David Onyekanmi.
The wedding ceremony was held in her hometown in Akwa Ibom State on Wednesday.
Queen went live on her Instagram account to capture the event.
The bride was dressed in a beautiful blue-coloured outfit while the groom rocked a blue agbada.
In the video, the 28-year-old presented David to her father as her husband, and the man prayed for the couple.
Queen’s best friend and fellow reality star Nini Singh was also present to support her friend.
An excited Queen earlier shared a video of her outfit and her make-up session on her Instagram account in which she showered praises on her designer.
Captioning one of the videos, she wrote: “So it’s my introduction today and my fashion designer took it too personal. I told her something simple but perfect for a Queen. She said Queen pls can you trust me? Let me do my thing. @vspangles love it. Thank you.
Queen announced her engagement to her lover on February 29, 2024, which generated several reactions on social media.
Following the announcement, skit maker Lord Lamba, father of Queen’s daughter, dragged her to court over child custody.
Seemingly unbothered by her baby daddy’s threat to fight for full custody, Queen shared a video of herself showing off her engagement ring.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “My fiancĂ© said, “My dear Queen, it’s diamonds đź’Ž for you, babe.” When I asked why he spent so much, he replied, “Because you mean the world to me.” As Pastor Jerry Eze would ask, “How will you shout?” Well, I’ve lost my voice; I can’t shout anymore. Instead, I’m filled with gratitude and thankfulness to God.
“To my dear husband-to-be @iam_kingdaivid I vow to love you with the depth and devotion of a true Akwa Ibom woman to her husband. You’ve signed up for boundless love. Till the wheels fall off..”
