Big Brother Naija reality star Victoria Adeyele better known as Vee has reacted to the first scene in the late Biyi Bandele’s Elesin Oba where some of the female characters showed off their breasts.
Since its release on Netflix on Friday, the controversial scene has sparked several reactions n Twitter.
Joining others to share thoughts on the scene, Vee in a tweet on Friday commended the characters for their ‘boldness’.
She wrote: “First scene in Elesin Oba. I like the boldness tbh. I’m kinda excited about this one.”
Produced by Mo Abudu and set in the Oyo Empire, Elesin Oba is the story of a king’s horseman who must commit ritual suicide to follow his deceased king into the afterlife.
However, his best intentions are derailed by his sexual desires which leads to catastrophic consequences and ends in a deadly clash with the British rulers of the day. The horseman is unable to fulfill his ultimate commitment to the king, leaving his spirit to roam the earth, spelling doom for the land and its people.
The movie stars actors like Odunlade Adekola, Shaffy Bello, Omowunmi Dada, Deyemi Okanlawon, Jide Kosoko and Joke Silva.
