Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Venita Akpofure, has explained why she accepted a role in the television series, Unmarried.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) published on Thursday, the 32-year-old explained that she accepted the role because she believes in connecting with women.
She said, “I am a firm believer in connecting with women and this kind of script is very relatable and a lot more common than the society likes to present.
Speaking on her stay in the Big Brother Naija house, the actress explained that her participation in the show was a journey of discovery which also opened up doors for her in business.
Venita also opened up about the scrutiny which comes with being in the public eye and confessed that she sometimes likes to give the critics a taste of their own medicine.
“Once in a while, I’m a troll too, I like to troll people who come for me, am as human as any of those behind the keyboards so it is what it is,” she said.
