Nollywood actresses, Belinda Effah, and Uche Ogbodo, have alleged that some crew members were harassed by a drunk police officer while on a movie set in Lagos.
The two movie stars made the accusation in a video they shared on Instagram on Monday.
“I came to set today and I heard something very disturbing about the police force and I thought I should put it out there. The crew members told me that they were harassed by a police officer who actually released seven bullets at them randomly…,” said the 31-year-old Belindah.
Uche, 34, also condemned the officer’s actions and demanded justice for the crew members.
Belinda later shared a picture of a man which she claimed was the police officer who harrassed the crew.
“This is the police officer Ali. He must face justice for releasing seven bullets on innocent citizens he is meant to protect,” she wrote.
Belinda and Uche are not the first Nollywood stars to accuse the police of harrasing them while on set.
Actors, Charles Okocha and Damola Olatunji, have also made similar allegations.
