Executive vice chairman of Globacom, Bella Disu, has celebrated her father Mike Adenuga, who turned 66 on Monday.
Disu rejoiced with her father by posting an old picture on Instagram of Adenuga carrying her on his lap with both of them doing a thumbs-up.
She wrote: ”For many things, so very many things… For teaching me that the word “impossible” doesn’t exist. For pushing me to build resolve, persistence and grit.
“For instilling humility in me… refusing to buy me a new school bag, and insisting that I got it repaired after I cut it up myself as a 9-year-old – just because I wanted a new school bag.
“For introducing me to Highlife music. But most importantly, For giving me my very first taste of Kir Royale! 66 Hearty Cheers Dad! Thank you for the gift of you.”
Bella Disu was recently at the 10th anniversary of CNN’s African Voices which was held at Sky Lounge, Eko Hotel, Lagos.
Globacom is the exclusive sponsor of the weekly half-hour magazine programme, African Voices, which showcases successful and high profile personalities shaping the continent.
