Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and his family have buried their mother Margaret who died on February 1 at the age of 95.
The funeral mass was held on Thursday at St Dominic Catholic Church in Yaba, Lagos. A private wake was held on Thursday.
Former minister of information during the Abacha regime, Walter Ofonagoro, and his wife were at the wake.
The Murray-Bruce family did not reveal where Margaret who was fondly called Mama was buried.
Murray-Bruce, who formerly represented Bayelsa East at the Senate, received condolence visits from presidential aspirant Bola Tinubu, and from the former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel.
Others who also paid condolence visits at his late mother’s house in Yaba include pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu; Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and Ade Idowu.
