Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has met with Nana Agyeman-Rawlings, widow of former President of Ghana Jerry Rawlings, and South African singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
The 68-year-old met them at a fundraising event for The Pan African Heritage Museum, a museum in Accra, Ghana.
At the event, Murray-Bruce also met Ghanaian politician Samia Nkrumah among others. He noted in an Instagram post on Thursday that a former President of Botswana Ian Khama delivered an impressive speech at the Wednesday night event.
“Yesterday, I attended a fundraising event for The Pan African Heritage Museum. President Ian Khama, who is the patron of the museum and former president of Botswana, delivered a beautiful speech,” Murray-Bruce wrote.
