Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has sent his condolences to Nollywood and family of the filmmaker Chico Ejiro over the latter’s death.
The former Bayelsa East lawmaker prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
“I mourn the death of Nollywood legend and filmmaker, Chico Ejiro. My condolences to his family, the Nollywood family and all the love ones he left behind. May his soul rest in peace,” Murray-Bruce tweeted on Friday.
Qed.ng had earlier reported that the movie director and producer died on Christmas Day of suspected cardiac arrest.
The Isoko, Delta-born screenwriter released Night Bus to Lagos last year and was working on a movie titled Relapse at the time of his death.
