Awarding winning recording artiste, Davido, has reacted to his win as the best international act at the 2018 BET Awards held on Sunday at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA.
The 25-year-old beat compatriot, Tiwa Savage; Booba from France; Cassper Nyovest of South Africa; Fally Ipupa of Congo and Stefflon Don of the United Kingdom to the award.
In a post to Instagram on Tuesday Davido said it is fun doing the impossible.
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible… Nigerians turning up Worldwide,” he wrote.
Other nominees in the category were Dadju (France), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), J Hus (UK), Niska (France) and Stormzy (UK).
At the 2018 Headies awards held at the Eko Hotels and Suites last month, Davido was one of the biggest winners.
He took home three awards which include best pop single and song of the year with ‘If’ as well as the grand prize of artiste of the year.
