Pop queen, Beyonce, almost fell during her performance at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show held on Sunday at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, USA.
While it would have been a laugh of the century if the ‘7/11’ singer was videotaped falling flat on her butt, the dance pro who looked like she almost tipped backwards while dancing saved herself from embarrassment by taking a little hop back and standing up without missing a beat.
Meanwhile, Beyonce gave the audience a great performance as she danced her heart out on the field with a group of dancers while performing ‘Formation’, the surprise video she released over the weekend.
Queen Bey was dressed in a black custom leather jacket with gold metal military details designed by Dean and Dan Caten which was meant to pay homage to pop star, Michael Jackson.
The 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show also witnessed performances from Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
Coldplay kicked off the festivities with a snippet of ‘Yellow’ and then transitioned into ‘Viva la Vida.’
Lead singer, Chris Martin then sang ‘Paradise’ before thrilling the audience with their recently released single, ‘Adventure of a Lifetime.’
Mars and his group also took the stage in matching black leather outfits and performed the track ‘Uptown Funk’ along with Mark Ronson.
The trio of Beyonce, Chris Martin and Bruno Mars closed the show together by singing Coldplay’s ‘Up and Up’ with a portion of the stadium audience turning up signs that read “believe in love”.
