Bianca Ojukwu, Jumoke Oduwole, others sworn in as ministers

President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in the seven newly appointed ministers in a ceremony held at the council chamber of Aso Villa.

The ministers were appointed a fortnight ago after Tinubu dismissed five others from his cabinet.

The new ministers and their portfolios are Nentawe Yilwatda, minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi, minister of labour and employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, minister of state for foreign affairs; and Jumoke Oduwole, minister of industry, trade and investment.

Others are Idi Maiha, minister of livestock development; Yusuf Ata, minister of state for housing and urban development; and Suwaiba Ahmad, minister of state for education.

The new ministers are expected to immediately begin their duties.
