Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, widow of Biafra leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has reflected on her controversial altercation with Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of former Anambra State governor Willie Obiano.
The incident occurred on March 17, 2022, during the inauguration of Charles Soludo as the governor of Anambra State.
During the ceremony, Ebelechukwu Obiano approached Bianca, allegedly making a provocative remark: “What are you doing here? You shouldn’t be here.”
In response, Bianca slapped her, leading to a brief commotion before security personnel intervened.
Though neither woman publicly explained the cause of the altercation, reports suggest it stemmed from longstanding political and personal tensions.
Bianca, a former Nigerian ambassador and a key figure in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), had reportedly clashed with Ebelechukwu Obiano in the past over party and leadership matters.
Marking the third anniversary of the incident, Bianca took to Instagram on Monday to share a video of the altercation, accompanied by a cryptic message.
“NEVER TURN YOUR LAST DAY IN OFFICE INTO A PAINFUL EXIT….
As the saying goes, ‘Pink butterflies, especially those with oversized wings or inflated egos must never fly too dangerously close to the flame.’
“Exactly on this day, 17th March, in 2022, a certain individual under the influence decided to put this adage to the test. Trouble dey sleep….” she wrote.
The post sparked reactions from fans, with many leaving humorous comments.
