Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of the former governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano, and Bianca Ojukwu, widow of Igbo leader Odumegwu Ojukwu, clashed on Thursday at the inauguration of Prof Charles Soludo as Anambra State governor.
Drama ensued when Mrs Obiano confronted Bianca, accusing her of antagonising Obiano.
The incident occurred immediately after Soludo took his oath of office.
The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action.
Mrs Obiano was later taken away and shortly afterwards her husband left the venue.
Bianca had in the past accused Obiano and other Anambra politicians of using her husband’s popularity to their advantage without respect for his family.
