Actress Bidemi Kosoko and her husband Daniel Bankole have held a naming ceremony for their daughter.
The actress’ father veteran actor Jide Kosoko posted a video from the naming ceremony on Instagram on Tuesday.
In the video, the actor is seen dancing and singing as he held the baby while taking photos with the child’s mother and another actress Foluke Daramola.
“Abidemi’s baby naming house party. My bundle of joy @bidemi_kosoko,” he captioned the video.
Bidemi confirmed the birth of her baby girl in an Instagram post on May 4.
“Thank you, Lord for the beautiful bundle of joy added to my family. Mama na girl. Thanks everyone. May we always be celebrated in jesus name,” she wrote.
The actress’ sister Sola Kosoko shared the good news on Instagram the previous day with a photo of Bidemi and her newborn.
She congratulated the couple while noting that mother and child are well and sound.
“A big congratulations to Kosoko and Bankole’s family on our new bundle of joy as my sister @bidemi_kosoko gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Mother and daughter are well and sound,” she wrote.
Bidemi welcomed her first son in May 2019, weeks after her sister, Sola, had her second child.
