Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress Venita Akpofure has claimed that the reality show did not help her become famous.
Venita stated this in her musical debut, ‘Gen Z Cypher’ featuring Magnito, a clip of which was shared on her X handle on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old boasted that she was already a star before going on the reality show.
According to her, the organisers of the reality show did not help her achieve stardom, stressing that they both helped each other.
“I made it before Big Brother. No be Biggie help me, we dey help each other. Small girls babbling, I don’t even bother. Dem no get experience, they never cross border,” Venita rapped.
Venita gained prominence as a housemate in the fourth season of the reality show. She plays the lead role of Nengi in the Africa Magic series Unmarried.
In July 2023, she was announced as one of the housemates for the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition.
