Comedian and actor, Ushbebe, referred to current housemates, Tacha and Mercy, as prostitutes while speaking to an audience at a concert recently.
The 37-year-old made the comments during his performance at colleague, Akpororo’s, show in Lagos on Sunday.
He later apologized for the comments in an Instagram post on Monday.
“This our work no get weather na as u meet am u go serve am… both men Dey collect jabs from me , it’s just comedy U can’t always like the tune …. sorry if some of my lines offend u now u know Mercy and Tacha use same energy to keep dem in the house ,” he wrote.
A former banker, Ushbebe went into television working with ace comedian AY as event manager/presenter on THE AY SHOW.
He is the host of his TV show ‘The Chronicles of Ushbebe’ which airs on multiple channels in Europe and Nigeria.
He also presents the morning runs show on Naija FM 102.7 with Godwin and Sabina.
Ushbebe got married to Annette in 2013.
