Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, has described former housemate of reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, Mike, as a model for young Nigerians.
Mike finished as first runner-up on Sunday to Mercy who claimed the grand prize of N60 million.

Mike, however, won N2 million as the housemate ‘with the best time’.
His wife, a British Olympian, Perri Shakes-Drayton, had arrived in Nigeria last week from London to support him.
In a tweet on Monday, Melaye said he was proud of Mike and that he owed him.
“Mike of BBN is a model of an ideal young Nigerian. I respect him with profound regard. I am proud of him as a moral compass for all African young persons. I owe him,” he said.

Before the show’s finale on Sunday, Melaye hosted several evicted Big Brother Naija 2019 housemates on August 31.
Among them were Jackye, Gedoni, Jeff, and KimOprah.
