Billionaire Prince Samuel Adedoyin, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, and Justice Sola Oguntade (retd) were among guests who attended the 46th birthday party of Shade Okoya, wife of industrialist Rasaq Okoya.
Also present was award-winning fashion designer Abah Folawiyo; Nkiru Anumudu, widow of the chairman of Globe Motors Willie Anumudu; and Sikirat Jakande, widow of the former Lagos State governor Lateef Jakande.
Oba Folarin Ogunsanwo and wife; and real estate mogul Olu Okeowo and wife were also present among others.
The low-key ceremony anchored by comedian Tee-A was used to celebrate the 46th birthday of Mrs Okoya, the MD/CEO of Eleganza Group, and her 24th wedding anniversary.
Prayers were said by Islamic clerics and guests were treated to good food, drinks and music.
The party was held at the home of the Okoya family in Oluwanishola Estate, Ajah, Lagos.
Mrs Okoya, an alumnus of the University of Lagos, married Rasaq at the age of 21, at the time when he was 59 years old. The couple has four children Olamide, Subomi, Oyinola, and Wahab.
She was among 450 persons who received national honours from President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022
