Businesswoman Folorunso Alakija, who is also the founder of Rose of Sharon Group, on Friday took to the streets to preach repentance.
Wearing an orange shirt with the inscription “perfect peace” and a face shield, Alakija called on the public to “come to Jesus and do not relent.”
“Come and be saved from all the problems of life,” she said, adding that “the religion of Jesus Christ is free.”
Those who joined her in the evangelism also wore same orange shirts.
“Come to the God that will give you the water of life. Whatever the problem is, Jesus can solve them all and make a difference in your life,” she captioned the video of her evangelism posted to Instagram.
Alakija and her followers also prayed before evangelising.
The clergywoman, who is one of the richest women in Africa, last year revealed she stopped using jewellery following God’s direction.
The 70-year-old has business interests in different fields such as oil and gas and fashion.
This is not the first time a billionaire would be preaching on the streets of Nigeria. The chief executive of Coscharis Motors Cosmas Maduka has done it a couple of times.
