Actress Bimbo Ademoye has addressed her future husband, noting that he has “big shoes to fill” after her father surprised her with five gallons of fuel amidst Nigeria’s ongoing fuel scarcity.
The actress took to her Instagram Story on Friday to share how her father had checked in on her during the crisis. After she told him that she used the last of her fuel in her car, her father showed up with five kegs of fuel and a full generator.
Recounting the moment, Bimbo wrote, “Daddy called to ask if the fuel scarcity was affecting me. I told him I had used the last of the fuel in my car. Hours later, he asked if I was home. When I said no, he told me to inform my PA because he was on his way.
“My PA later called to tell me that Daddy had brought me fuel. Five kegs and a full generator! Is my Daddy a joke to you? Dear God, please bless and keep my daddy. Amen.”
In a lighthearted message to her future husband, Bimbo added, “Dear future husband, I’m not asking for much. I’m not a damsel in distress. I’m a well-taken-care-of lady who appreciates the little things.
“But you’ve got big shoes to fill! Don’t worry about being taken care of, though—I promise, I’ve got you for life. Again, God please keep my daddy for us, he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to my siblings and me.”
Bimbo also shared a video of her father dancing, captioning it, “My everything!”
This occurrence follows another gesture Bimbo made for her father in June, when she commissioned a special song to honour his birthday. Reaching out to one of her favorite musicians, Jimmasun Habeeb, she created a song that expressed her deep appreciation for him.
