Actress and producer Bimbo Afolayan has penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, filmmaker Okiki Afolayan, as he prepares to mark his 40th birthday on February 2.
Sharing a photo of Okiki on Instagram on Thursday, Bimbo described him as an answered prayer, a supportive partner and the love of her life.
She expressed gratitude for their journey together, noting that she was starting the celebration early because her love for him could not be confined to a single day.
“My Lawrence @okikiafolayan, the one I prayed for, my answered prayer, my hardworking husband, the most supportive… You are not just my man, you are my home, my rest, and my safe place,” she wrote.
The mother of two also prayed for Okiki’s continued blessings, a light burden and a heart that remains pure.
Okiki, who also shared the same photo on Instagram, hinted at his upcoming milestone with the caption: “4TH FLOOR LOADING, FEB 2ND BABY, IN ADVANCE OMO AFOLAYAN, EKUN OKO AGBEKE.”
Bimbo and Okiki tied the knot in October 2018.
They welcomed their first child in 2020 and their second in 2022.
