Actress Bimpe Akintunde has posted a video on social media, recalling her trip to Canada to support her colleague, Starboy Temidayo.
In her Instagram post on Thursday, Bimpe opened up about her emotions during the flight to Canada.
The actress can be seen holding back tears, visibly moved in the video.
She described herself as a “cry baby,” explaining how the experience brought back memories of her struggles, the highs and lows.
Despite the many challenges she has faced, Bimpe expressed gratitude for God’s constant presence in her life, calling it “a big deal.”
While, according to her, she has been travelling internationally since 2015, she emphasised that this particular trip was especially meaningful, prompting her to share a thanksgiving post.
She also took the opportunity to credit her husband for encouraging her to apply for a visa to Canada, acknowledging his role in her success.
The movie star revealed that her colleague Starboy Temidayo had been inviting her to Canada for the past five years, but she didn’t submit the application until the timing felt right.
“I’m such a cry baby,” she wrote.
“Yesterday, on my way to Canada, I got emotional thinking about where I’m coming from, the struggles, the ups and downs, and how God has been faithful.
“Despite all the challenges, God keeps coming through for me. This is a Thanksgiving post, and I pray for everyone seeking such blessings to receive them.”
