Filmmaker Biodun Stephen has released the official trailer for her new series Tough Love which stars actress Ada Ameh among other actors.
Biodun said the series is a spinoff of the movie Tough Love in an Instagram post on Sunday.
She said the series is funny, hearty and emotional.
“INTRODUCING our newest “Dramedy” series: TOUGH LOVE.
“The tough love series is a spinoff of the the movie Tough Love. it follows the lives of a local canteen owner IjeBaby and Kanye, a British returnee. you will love this one guys,” she said.
Biodun, in an earlier post announced her new project to her fans and followers on Instagram.
She said, “ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! We’ve been cooking this hot new series for a minute now but it’s ready!!! Official Trailer drops at 4pm.”
The movie Tough Love was released in 2017 and directed by Biodun.
It tells a story of a United States returnee, Obaoluwa who is tricked into returning to his hometown in Abeokuta by his mother to seek alternative ways of keeping him away from substance abuse.
The movie stars Bolaji Ogunmola, Joshua Richard, Vivian Metchie, among others.
