Super Eagles star, Shehu Abdullahi, is reportedly attracting interest from English Championship side, Birmingham City.
Abdullahi, 24, currently on the payroll of Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta, is expected to make a big move to mainstream Europe.
The defender is in the final year of his contract and will be available for around £500k in January.
According to Birmingham Mail, the Blues could pounce on the situation to poach the Nigerian to England.
Abdullahi is a regular for his country and recently helped the Super Eagles qualify for the World Cup in Russia next summer.
Birmingham boss, Steve Cotterill, recently admitted that Blues would not be paying over the odds for players in January after an expensive summer in the transfer market under former manager Harry Redknapp.
He also suggested that loan signings might be the way forward to help keep Blues in the division.
Famagusta are looking to cash in on Abdullahi as they risk losing him for nothing next summer when his contract expires.
Abdullahi started his career at Plateau United before spells at Kano Pillars, Qadsia and União da Madeira.
