Big Brother Naija 2017 first runner-up, Bisola Aiyeola, has dressed in the costume of ancient Hausa warrior, Queen Amina, in celebration of her 34th birthday.
In a post on Instagram early Tuesday, the reality TV star chose to motivate women, saying the conquest ahead was unstoppable.
“Chapter 34. As I celebrate my birthday today, I am channelling the Queen Amina in me. Queen Amina was a warrior, a leader, a defender of her people and one of the most successful traders in history. My fellow queens and princesses, the power in us is undefeatable and the light in us is undimmable, the conquest ahead of us is unstoppable. Happy Birthday Queen Biyesi of the world, your best is ahead of you 📸,” she said.
Amina was a Hausa warrior queen of the city-state Zazzau, in what is now in the north-west region. She ruled in the mid-sixteenth century. She was born in 1533 and died in 1610.
Last year, Bisola celebrated her birthday with pictures of herself in a blue dress.
She was one of the contestants of the inaugural MTN Project Fame West Africa in 2008 where she came fifth.
