Actress Bisola Badmus has received significant support after revealing her three-year battle with a brain tumour.

A volunteer has offered to sponsor her surgery abroad while her son, Michael, has had his education fully paid for through secondary school and university.

This news was shared by her colleague, Biola Adebayo on Instagram on Sunday where she expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love and assistance.

According to Biola, the decision regarding which country Bisola will travel to for the surgery—whether the USA, UK, or India—has been left to her and her family.

The volunteer has promised to cover all expenses.

In addition to the surgery, another generous individual has covered the school fees for Bisola’s son Michael, throughout his secondary education along with providing a full university scholarship.

Biola Bayo wrote on Instagram, “Malik’s school fees have been paid all through secondary school, and he has a scholarship for university from another kind soul. Any further donations will go towards Bisola’s well-being. Please keep her in your prayers.”

She continued, “We also have a volunteer who has promised to sponsor her brain surgery abroad, covering all costs. The choice of location is up to Bisola and her family. Thank you all for your overwhelming support.”

Biola also reminded everyone to pray for Bisola as they await a matching donor for the surgery.

Last week, Bisola Badmus shared in an interview with Kunle Afod that her brain tumor had progressed to a point where she struggled with vision and recognition.

However, she mentioned that medication has helped and her condition is showing signs of improvement.

In a separate interview on Biola Bayo’s ‘Talk to B’ podcast, Bisola opened up about her co-parenting challenges with her son’s father Kwam1.

She revealed that she initially didn’t inform him of her health struggles but he later found out and assisted briefly before losing contact.

Following her emotional revelation, many Nigerians offered assistance, including sponsoring her son’s education.
