Blackface pens open letter to 2Baba, Annie Idibia amid marital crisis

Singer Blackface has written an open letter to singer 2Baba and his wife Annie Idibia, urging them to handle their separation with decorum.

In the letter shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the Ghetto Child singer reminded the couple of their status as role models and the need to set a good example for younger generations.

Acknowledging that every relationship has challenges, he prayed for their strength during this period.

“My open letter to Innocent Idibia and Annie Macaulay Idibia. I bid you both good tidings, Mr. & Mrs. Idibia,” he wrote.

“I am reaching out to you guys at this time to remind us to show decorum and be civil with whatever proceedings you may be going through.

“As role models, we should always set good examples for this generation to emulate and the older generations to be proud of.

“Let’s keep it together in the family as every relationship has its ups and downs. I pray God gives you both the strength to scale through this. My regards to your families and my love to your kids. With love, Blackface Naija.”

His message comes after 2Baba confirmed his separation from Annie in an Instagram post on Sunday.

The ‘African Queen’ singer revealed they had been apart for some time and had begun divorce proceedings. Though the post was later deleted, he released a video reaffirming the announcement.

2Baba and Annie, who tied the knot in 2012, have two daughters together.
