Popular crossdresser Bobrisky says he has got himself a new Mercedes Benz SUV ahead of his 29th birthday on Monday, August 31.
The Lagos-based socialite shared a video on Instagram on Friday, August 28 to break the news.
In the video, Bobrisky calls himself a big girl, asking his followers to count how many cars he now owns.
“Birthday gift came earlier yaaaaaaaay. Biggest girl ever!!!!” Bobrisky captioned the video.
The controversial personality has been sharing flamboyant pictures on Instagram in preparation for his birthday.
It is unlikely he would hold a birthday party this year, not just because of restrictions occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic, but the shutdown of his planned birthday party in Lekki area of Lagos last year.
The police had accused him of planning to initiate people into homosexuality.
Bobrisky said his botched party cost him N19 million.
The Instagram sensation had got himself a 2019 Range Rover for his 28th birthday.
Announcing the arrival of the car last year, he wrote: “I’ve always dreamt of dis car since last year when the 2018 came out. I told the car dealer I want the 2019 while we are in the year 2019. At first the price tag was scary. But I said to myself I can make it. How I paid over 30million plus on this car I don’t even know. Now the car is right in my compound smiling at me. Congrats to me once again.”
The arrival of the car, however, did not come without controversy as the dealer had initially repossessed it following Bobrisky’s failure to meet up with the payment schedule.
The Range Rover was among items confiscated when the police invaded the venue of his birthday party. It was later released to the car dealer’s agent after providing necessary documents.
The multi-million naira car was unfortunately bashed in October 2019 by an unidentified man. The man also smashed Bobrisky’s iPhone 11max on the ground, resulting in a physical battle.
