Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has finally left Nigeria after two unsuccessful attempts.
Bobrisky shared a video of himself on Instagram Story onboard an aircraft on Monday morning with the caption, “See you soon Nigeria.”
In another post, he claimed that the travel disruptions have made him spend over N30 million buying first-class tickets. “Dis girl bought first class ticket 3 times that’s over 30 million. Raise bar for dis girl,” he wrote.
Bobrisky was detained last Friday by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after being removed from a London-bound airplane in Lagos following refusal to honour an invitation from the agency.
Bobrisky was needed to clear a misunderstanding which arose from a voice note posted on social media by social media personality VeryDarkMan where he was alleged to have said he bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.
He was released last weekend after disowning the voice note.
The crossdresser earlier attempted to leave Nigeria via Seme Border.
