Crossdresser Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has returned to social media after a brief detention at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) in the Alagbon area of Lagos.

The detention followed his arrest at Seme Border while attempting to cross into Benin Republic.

On Tuesday, the crossdresser shared new photos of himself dressed in women’s clothing on his Instagram page.

In his post, Bobrisky included a message promoting resilience. “Strong women don’t play the victim. They don’t appear weak or blame others. They confront their issues,” he wrote.

Further expressing his renewed outlook, he wrote on Instagram Story, “This new me is refreshing and peaceful.”

Bobrisky’s return comes as a panel recommended criminal charges against him after indicting four prison officers.

Bobrisky has been under investigation by a committee of the House of Representatives, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

The allegations centre on bribery and misconduct.
