Crossdresser Idris Okunenye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has shared details of his time in prison.
Bobrisky narrated his experience during an appearance on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast with skit maker Isbae U.
He described his prison time as enjoyable, likening it to a vacation.
“You said it’s an excursion; to me, I see it as a vacation. You know, a vacation to go and rest. So I have been working so hard, and I think their decision was okay for me,” he explained.
The crossdresser expressed his willingness to return to prison under different circumstances.
He mentioned, “It fits me, and I would love to go back, maybe for a short term, not a long one.”
He added that after his arrest, he was kept at the female Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC) custody. However, when he moved to the correctional centre, he was moved to the male prison.
Bobrisky stated that the prisoners treated him well, providing him with things and taking care of him.
He also mentioned that he was the only person who stood out as different in the prison.
“While I was at the male correctional centre, I was the only different person there. So people were nice to me, they were showing me care and giving me stuff “
Bobrisky was released from Kirikiri correctional facility in August 5 after serving a six-month jail term for the abuse of the naira.
