BrandXchange, organisers of the annual Consumers Value Awards, have announced the commencement of online nomination of brands eligible for voting.
The opening of the nomination portal, according to chief analyst and managing director of BrandXchange Akonte Ekine, coincided with World Consumers Rights Day on March 15.
“We hope that consumers will contribute to brands’ efficacy by showing interest in the nomination of brands based on experience.
“The Consumers Value Awards is a prestigious online periodic award aimed at creating awareness for the rights of consumers and promoting brand excellence in the country with empirical data based on the voting of consumers for brands online.
“The 2023 edition of the award will hold at the prestigious Radisson Blu hotel in August,” a statement from the organisers said.
Over 26 brands were celebrated as the best value-for-money brands based on consumer votes at the inaugural edition of the award last year.
