Contrary to some media reports that bread seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna, has taken delivery of a luxury apartment in Lagos, Qed.ng has been reliably informed that the 27-year-old and her benefactor, Sujimoto Construction Limited, are still working out details of the offer.
A source close to the mother of two told this online newspaper on Sunday that an initial offer of an apartment in either Yaba or Surulere fell through because her family could not immediately agree on the location and size of accommodation best suited for her.
While her immediate family is said to favour a modest structure that she will be able to afford on her own when the offer by Sujimoto expires, Sijibomi Ogundele, the man behind the firm, insists on providing a luxury apartment that befits her new status.
“Some people even suggested Ikorodu, but Sujimoto insisted it must be somewhere within the metropolis,” the source said on condition of anonymity.
The search for the choice apartment is said to have now shifted to Ilupeju, also in Lagos.
“The last I heard is that a place has been found in Ilupeju but I cannot confirm if a final decision has been taken on moving Jumoke and her family there,” we were told.
If the Ilupeju accommodation comes through, the woman who found fame after photobombing Tinie Tempah’s photoshoot by TY Bello is expected to move in there with her husband and two kids.
Ogundele is also said to be considering offering her husband – a sliding door installer – employment in his construction firm.
