National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has resigned from the party.
Abdullahi, an ally of Senate President Bukola Saraki, had on Tuesday denied he had defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) along with his principal.
But in a statement on Wednesday, the former sports minister said he decided to resign as APC spokesman because his “loyalty is constantly brought into question”.
