National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has lost his first son, Jide Tinubu.
Chairman of APC in Lagos, Henry Ajomale, confirmed this in a short statement on Wednesday.
“It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Please commiserate with him,” Ajomale wrote.
A source close to the former Lagos State governor told Qed.ng on a condition of anonymity that the younger Tinubu died in Lagos on Tuesday.
“His father will not be making any official statement,” this online newspaper was told.
