The Department of State Services (DSS) has released the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.
Mr Sowore was released on Thursday night following an order by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja that Sowore be released within 24 hours.

Sowore’s lawyer, Femi Falana, has also confirmed the development, adding that the DSS also paid Sowore the fine.
Sowore first met his bail on November 6 but he was not released.
He has been in DSS custody since his arrest in Lagos on August 3.
