Immediate past Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has been granted a N50million bail by the Federal High Court in Lagos in a N2.2billion fraud trial instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Justice Mojisola Olatoregun on Wednesday granted Fayose bail with two sureties in like sum.
The judge, however, said the ex-governor should be remanded in the prison custody pending the fulfilment of the bail condition.
A smiling Fayose arrived the court around 9 am in the company of his aides and other supporters.
